Level 1 Vinyasa Flow

Gentle integration of stretching, breath work, held poses and basic vinyasa flow.

This gentle and accessible class utilizes the fundamental postures to help those newer to yoga learn alignment, movement, breathing and mindfulness to become more comfortable in their yoga practice. It is ideal for both newer students and more advanced practitioners to continually develop a practice of mindful, conscious movement for health and well being.

SLOW-ga

Designed to start your week feeling grounded and mindful. All Levels.

We move, we breathe, we relax, most of it on the floor.  Taking the emphasis off of accomplishing something and putting it more on experiencing something. Not a calorie burning class, but you will lose whats weighing you down.

Beginner Yoga

Perfect to start here or get refreshers

In this very supportive class enviroment, you will be introduced to the basics of yoga and build a foundation for your yoga practice . Learn basic postures, correct alignment, the benefits of breathing. Teachers are nurturing, encouraging and very patient.

If you have heard of and are interested in pursuing a journey into yoga, but have said 1) I’m not flexible, 2) I’m not in good enough shape, or 3) I’m intimidated by yoga, then this is the class for you! You’ll take the first steps on your own path to yoga, and you’ll get a homemade Ahimsa Granola bar from Ella Bonella!

Slow Flow ($10 class)

All Levels. This is an introduction to the studio, an affordable way, $10, to step in. We call this class Community because you are sharing an experience of Yoga with other like minded people from all backgrounds, ages and beliefs. It is taught to all levels and Marlene is grateful that it is celebrating its 12th year.

Vinyasa Yoga

Classic linking of breath to movement.

Adv Beginners/ Intermediate. This class offers a flowing practice appealing to students who have yoga experience and are comfortable with postures. Flow integrates breath and movement, inner and outer alignment, and strength and flexibility. Its a moving meditation.

Meditation

Shared space for practicing mindfulness and inner awareness

It seems Stillness and Silence are better found when they happen to us, than when we go looking for them. We take a short time to quiet, 15 minutes.  Instructions: sit comfortably, breath naturally, watch what happens. It can be that simple!

All Levels. Start your Saturday morning with refreshing alignment based Vinyasa Yoga linking movement with breath taught at a slower rhythm and pace to allow for going deeper into the practice.

Yin Yoga

Ease tension, find inner calm, reduce stress and anxiety through fewer poses and longer holds.

All Levels. Slow paced, peaceful and deeply calming through easy movements gently releasing tension, promoting stress relief and slowing down from busy living.  This style of yoga targets the deep connective tissues of the body (vs. the superficial tissues) and the fascia that covers the body; this is to help regulate the flow of energy in the body.We will hold poses typically up to 2 minutes in order to deeply relax and stretch. Be prepared to deeply exhale as we use bolsters, blankets and other props to support your body for full relaxation and better sleep. Nurture your spirit in a pleasant and supportive environment.
